The Professional Services division of Vision MS provides a comprehensive list of services to assist all forms of local government (cities/towns, fire districts, water and sewer districts, irrigation, conservation, library and other special purpose districts) with accounting, budgeting, state and federal reporting, risk management, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Our professional services can vary to meet either your short term or long term needs. Local governments often report difficulty in finding local personnel with the training and experience to meet the demands of a finance manager or administrator position such as Clerk/Treasurer of a small city or town, a Fire District Secretary, or a rural water district's Finance Director. These positions are frequently assigned multiple duties that require a level of expertise in many areas. Local government can choose from a variety of services including fiscal reporting and accounting, financial services, local government administration services, auditing prep, training for payroll processing, and newly elected officials orientation for financial review.
