Regional Workshops
As part of Vision Professional Services, we will be providing "regional' workshops that will focus on emerging issues and the latest reporting and accounting requirements.
These workshops will be located geographically to minimize your travel costs and deliver training opportunities to you in the most cost efficient manner possible.
Here are two examples of some of the classes that will be provided during the annual training cycle:
· Fund Accounting - this workshop will focus on the analysis of current funds being used, appropriate fund classification, and how to report multiple managerial funds. Over the past 2 - 3 years there have been several changes implemented and required by the State Auditor's Office. The appropriate classification and use of fund numbers is one of those changes. Bring your financial statements to the class, as part of your first step of analysis and leave the workshop with a clear understanding of what steps should be taken next.
· Annual Report changes - this will be an annual workshop that will be devoted to the latest changes required by the WA State Auditor's office and your preparation of the Annual Financial Report. The training will include a review of the statements, schedules and notes required to be prepared and presented with an emphasis on what's new and what has changed since the previous report period.
